Sunday Programs
The Lebanon County Historical Society sponsors lecture and exhibit programs. All programs are held in the Reese Memorial Hall at 1:30 PM, unless noted otherwise. Programs are open to the public and most programs are free. Prospective members are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments are served, and the Gift Shop will be open for your convenience.

January 21 – Author Robert J. Trout will present a talk on “Writing History”
February 18 – Author Gary Ludwig will discuss the Blue Eyed Six and Lebanon County’s involvement in the Civil War and the reconstruction era
March 18 – Author Mary Weigley presenting “History of the Pennsylvania Seventh Cavalry”
April 15 – Paul Allison presenting “Colonial Flintlock Riflemaking”
May 19 and 20 – Canal Days – May 19th (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) and 20th (11:00 am – 5:00 pm)
June 10 – Annual Members’ Meeting
July 15 – Author Nancy Ebling Laudermilch will present “A History of the Swatara Creek”
August 19 – Uhma Ruth Py, an elder in the Lenape Wolf clan from Reinholds, will present an afternoon of storytelling and teaching on the Native American culture
September 16 – History of Lebanon County Breweries presented by Rich Wagner, Pennsylvania brewery historian
October 21 – Laurie Snyder, local historian of the PA 47th, will be presenting a program on JPS Gobin and the PA 47th
November 11 – In honor of the centennial of Armistice Day, James McAteer will present on the Lebanon County Veterans of WWI
